Hometown Hero Spotlight: Dr. Jean Bonnet

Each year Blue Hills Bank asks members of the community to nominate local individuals and organizations that have had major impacts on their communities. The top 12 heroes are selected by a committee and featured in the following year’s Hometown Hero Calendar.

Dr. Jean Bonnet

November 2017 Hometown Hero

Dr. Jean Bonnet has been a staple in the Hyde Park community for more than 20 years. Practicing medicine is his job, but serving his patients’ many and various needs is his life’s work. Born in Haiti, Dr. Bonnet had to make many personal sacrifices to get where he is today and pays particular attention to his patients who might need more than just medical attention. He treats his patients and neighbors like they are members of his family and, like anyone who does something well, Dr. Bonnet makes it all look easy.

Each Hometown Hero is awarded $1,000 toward a charity of their choice. Dr. Jean Bonnet is sending his $1,000 donation from the Blue Hills Bank Foundation to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Thank you, Dr. Jean Bonnet, for your dedication and service to the community.
