Blue Hills Bank has hired Jim Hanewich as vice president and senior loan officer to spearhead its lending division’s expansion into Boston’s MetroWest area. Hanewich will lead the bank’s new lending office located at 470 King Street in Franklin.
After graduating from Bowdoin College, Hanewich began his banking career with Fleet Bank and quickly moved into mortgage origination with Fleet Mortgage Group. Hanewich has spent the last 24 years working in the Bristol/Norfolk county area at DeWolfe Mortgage and New England Moves Mortgage as vice president and senior loan officer.
“Our Home Lending Division has experienced tremendous growth over the past several years and we are continually expanding both our product line as well as our geographic reach,” comments Bob Driscoll, senior vice president/residential and consumer lending. “Jim’s depth of knowledge in mortgage lending, as well as his stellar reputation in the Franklin/Wrentham communities, fits perfectly with this strategy.”
